assume the following:
a + b = c
Then...
4a - 3a = a
4b - 3b = b
4c - 3c = c
and so follows...
4a - 3a + 4b - 3b = 4c - 3c
4a + 4b - 4c = 3a + 3b - 3c
4(a + b + c) = 3(a + b + c)
Therefore:
4 = 3
